Is this a genuine original part?
This is a premium quality aftermarket replacement part, manufactured by Moto-Electrical to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) standards for fitment and performance.
How do I know if it fits my vehicle?
We recommend checking the cross-reference list provided. This fitting is standard for Honda outboards from 1991 onwards. If your current tank fitting has a 1/4" NPT threaded hole, this will screw in directly.
Does it require thread sealant during installation?
Yes, for a completely leak-proof seal, it is recommended to use PTFE (Teflon) tape or a marine-grade liquid thread sealant on the 1/4" NPT threads before installation into the fuel tank.
